Magnifique; splendide; somptueux; extraordinare… These are just a few of the words frequently uttered in toast to the world’s most famous wine region – Champagne.
Arblastar & Clarke hope you’ll join in on a long weekend among the gently rolling hills of this beautiful region, exploring powerhouses like Taittinger and Veuve Clicquot alongside smaller organic producers, and enjoy independent time in Reims, with its superb cathedral and historic parks and architecture.
All their weekends are slightly different, but all offer elegant Champagne tastings in your chosen season – whether that’s late Spring, beautiful Autumn harvest or just before Christmas.
Events
Four Champagne powerhouses are built into this long weekend, which incorporates Brice, Billiot, Tarlant and Guy Charbaut. We taste a variety of fine Champagne styles, delve into underground chalk cellars, and enjoy some independent exploration of springtime Reims.
Your Wine Guide is Conal Gregory MW, author of the ‘Cognac Companion’, who is a specialist in French wine and whom you may recognise as the compère from ITV’s ‘The Food Programme’.
