Discover Bodegas Torres

Bodegas Torres’ vineyards and wineries, near Barcelona, provide several immersive experiences for visitors.  Their range of activities won the ‘Most Innovative Tourist Experience’ prize at the Wine Tourism Awards for the third time last February.  The Torres Visitor Centre, located in Pacs del Penedés, organises more than 20 regular and annual activities.

These include a host of wine tours and tastings.  Visitors can choose between a winery visit, a walking tour and a premium tour, each of which offer the opportunity to see the Torres family’s wineries, vineyards and cellars and taste between two and five wines.  They can also add appetisers or a meal at the estate’s Mas Rabell restaurant to the tastings if they wish.  A wine tasting workshop offers the chance to learn how to appreciate wine in addition to touring the estate and enjoying some appetisers.  Visitors can also book a wine and cheese pairing workshop, where they can match five wines with five cheeses.

Other activities on offer include a Blind Tapas experience, a Wine Photography Tour (in autumn) and a Vineyard Race (in spring), all of which received particular recognition from the Wine Tourism Awards judges.  Visitors can also visit the Museum of Catalan Wine Culture (Vinseum), the beautiful Milmanda Castle and follow La Carretera del Vi – an ancient road featuring 12 wineries – in the local area.
