Domaines Paul Mas
17th July 2015
At the heart of Domaines Paul Mas is the winery, a place where old meets new in an ideal winemaking setting. The 1000-year-old estate is still run by the Mas family, with Fourth-generation vintner Jean-Claude Mas currently taking the helm.
The winery is located in the beautiful south of France in the Coteaux de Languedoc AOC between Pézenas and Sète on the Mediterranean coastline.
While the day-to-day winery work is managed by a team of winemakers, Jean-Claude oversees all wine-making decisions personally.
Jean-Claude Mas has blazed the trail for premium winemaking in the Languedoc region, making the Paul Mas estate one of the most influential wineries in the Languedoc.
Crafting wines using only quality grapes and specific wine-making techniques gives their family of magnificently charming sparkling wines a burst of personality that expresses their unique terroir.
If you’re visiting the south of France this summer, why not make a visit to the estate? Set amidst the serene countryside with stunning views of surrounding vineyards, the original Mas family estate is now a viticultural destination with wine caves, tasting room and restaurant.
