VIP Guests of Champagne Lanson at Wimbledon 2016

On the first day of Wimbledon, Lanson played host to the media elite as well as a few VIP guests in its Champagne Lanson chalet.
Ex-England tennis player Tim Henman popped in for a chat. Wine experts and Mail on Sunday wine critic, Olly Smith (who gave a toast to Lanson) and Jane Parkinson (Saturday Kitchen) attended. Other guests included Nick Ferrari, Charlene White, Simon McCoy and Victoria Graham.
Martin Guntrip, Club Secretary, The All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club – said a few words in support of Lanson and its long-standing relationship and took questions from the floor, including talking about Serena Williams’ passion for curries!
Other celebrities seen on the first day at Wimbledon included: Pippa and James Middleton, Cliff Richard and Yasmin Le Bon.
2016 is Champagne Lanson’s 39th-associated year with The Championships, Wimbledon.
In 2001, Lanson became their exclusive and Official Champagne Supplier at the Tournament, which it continues to do 15 years later. No other Champagne brand is poured during the fortnight which can see up 25,000 bottles consumed over the fortnight.
Lanson was awarded its Royal Warrant by Queen Victoria in 1901 and still supplies to the Royal Household to this day.
