Louis Roederer Releases 2009 Cristal

The 2009 vintage of Louis Roederer’s prestige cuvée, Cristal, has gone on sale for around £549 for six bottles, or just over £1,000 per dozen.

The price is similar to its 2006 and 2007 vintages. It is anticipated that its value will rise in years to come, in the same way that vintages of Cristal from 2005 and prior have gained in value since release.  The 1999, for example, has risen 113% between its release in May 2005 and its last trade on the exchange.Philippe Guittard,
