Champagne Sanger: Louise Eugénie, Oak Cask Brut
18th May 2015
Created for the 80-year anniversary of the wine making school as a tribute to Mrs Louise Eugénie Puisard, donor of the facility. She was particularly fond of vinification in wooden casks. Therefore, in her honour, this cuvee bears her name. it is composed of 60% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Noir, and 20% Pinot Meunier, vinified in wooden casks.
TASTING NOTES
Fresh, but with a strong personality, it reveals spring like aromas, between power and delicacy, complexity and sensitivity, sensuality and gentleness… its structure will ideally match fish and poultry.
Eye: golden yellow colour. Nose: expresses manifold aromas: dried fruit, coconut, grilled, smoked and toasted flavours. Dainty yet powerful.
Mouth: on the palate, you will feel the balance, complexity and delicacy of this great wine. Round and elegant. Butter finish.
Tasting advice: our cuvee Louise Eugénie will delight you. Let it highlight the special moments in your life. It will also perfectly accompany a festive meal.
