Celebrate English Wine Week with Luton Hoo Hotel

From the Queen serving Nyetimber, to Sharpham Dart Valley Reserve winning Gold as well as a coveted ‘By The Glass’ award in the Sommelier Wine Awards 2014, there can be no denying that English wine is making serious waves, both home and abroad.

To celebrate English Wine Week, Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa are holding a ‘Meet the Winemaker’ Gourmet Dinner hosted by Derek Smedley a Master of Wine from Warden Abbey, the only commercial vineyard in Bedfordshire on Saturday 30th May.

Guests will be treated to a delicious three course dinner created by our renowned Head Chef, Kevin Clark complemented with paired wines chosen and presented by our host.

After dinner, guests will enjoy an educational talk from Derek who will be discussing his 55 year career within the wine trade.
