Sparkling Summer Sundays in the Vines

Fancy a chilled-out Sunday at a vineyard? There are cellar doors, wine terraces & gardens all over the country ready to welcome you every week for breakfast, lunch, wine flights and more. In addition, there’s some special events, many with live music, that are well worth checking out.
Here’s a sparkling line up of eight vineyards looking to elevate your Sunday.
Vibes at the Vineyard – Crouch Ridge, Essex
Crouch Ridge Estate opens its bar every Sunday offering a wide range of food and wine options (including Oysters & Bubbly). On 27 July there’s a special ‘Vibes at the Vineyard’ with live music from the AllyKats.
Slowdown Sundays & Seafood Sundays – Saffron Grange, Essex
With a delicious line up of food trucks throughout the summer and some designated Seafood Sundays this is the place to relax and enjoy a chilled-out afternoon. Grab a drink from the tasting Room and either sit inside, outside or in the marquee and soak up the atmosphere. These sessions get really popular so preorder food.
Jazz Brunch – Mereworth Wines, Kent
Every Sunday there’s performances from talented jazz musicians at the winery between 11-2. Brunch is served 10-2 and there’s also pizzas 12-4. A perfect Sunday vibe!
Live music on the lawn – Denbies Wine Estate, Surrey
During August, Sundays are for enjoying live music, freshly made stone baked pizzas and pop-up wine tasting at Denbies Wine Estate. On 17 August there’s a Family Fun Day Summer Market.
Summer Sundays on The Vines – The View, Wraxall Vineyard, Somerset
During the Summer The View at Wraxall Vineyard is alternating between their own chefs and pop-up food trucks to bring you a variety of dishes from fresh pasta to BBQ, Tacos and more.
Summer Sunday Sessions – Heron Farm, Devon
Sundays in July and August mean live music with a range of different artists. Book a table and enjoy all day brunch or seasonal lunch menu whilst soaking up the atmosphere.
Flint Sundays – Flint Vineyard, Norfolk
These relaxed monthly events include acoustic music, chilled DJ sets and local street food. You can grab a glass of Flint wine or Ampersand beer and unwind in the barn or vineyard garden. Taking place 31 August / 28 September.
Sunday lates at The Wine Bar – Stanlake Park, Berkshire
Make the most of the light evenings and let Sunday afternoon roll into evening. The Wine Bar at Stanlake Park is now opening until 9pm over summer giving you even more time to enjoy their well-stocked bar, wine flights and a range of nibbles, snacks and deli boards.
