Visit Sandridge Barton in Devon
7th August 2025
Sandridge Barton is located in Devon, on the banks of the River Dart in beautiful countryside. Their vineyard is a picturesque backdrop for your wine tasting and tour experience.
The Sandridge Barton vineyard was planted in 2008, 3 kilometres downriver from their original vineyard on the Sharpham Estate, and these vines now produce over 80 tonnes of grapes a year from 32 acres.
With breathtaking views across the river and beyond, the site lies in a south-facing bowl that gently slopes towards the Dart, benefitting from the warming influence of the tidal river as well as the Devon sunshine. They apply a very gentle approach to growing grapes, being conscious of their impact on the natural environment and spray no pesticides or herbicides, relying on underground cover crops and extensive canopy management.
Book on to their vineyard safari, which offers a full insight into how they produce their award-winning wines, starting in the vineyard and going all the way through to the winery.
Discover their Classic Cuvée 2021, which won a Gold Medal in the Spring Fling Category at the Glass of Bubbly Awards 2024.
