Ferrari Trento Unveils the 2007 Giulio Ferrari Collezione: A Symphony of Time, Nature, and Passion

Seventeen years of silent refinement have culminated in the unveiling of the 2007 Giulio Ferrari Collezione, a rare expression born from the perfect harmony of time, nature, and human passion. Crafted only in exceptional vintages, this Trentodoc represents Ferrari Trento’s enduring ability to transform the gifts of the land into timeless works of art — a true emblem of Italian winemaking excellence.

The 2007 vintage marks just the fifth release of this precious cuvée, a testament to how Trentino’s mountain vineyards allow traditional method sparkling wines to evolve in depth and complexity while preserving the freshness and finesse that define Ferrari’s style.

From its very beginnings, 2007 stood out for its unpredictability: a snowless winter, a dry spring punctuated by May rain, and a summer characterized by heat and uneven precipitation. The harvest began unusually early, in the first days of August. Yet, true to its alpine heritage, Ferrari’s mountain viticulture delivered grapes of remarkable balance, turning a challenging season into a vintage of vibrant freshness and refined equilibrium.

In the glass, Giulio Ferrari Collezione 2007 glows with golden reflections and an extraordinarily fine perlage. Its bouquet unfolds with layered elegance — pecan and macadamia nuts, toasted hazelnuts, caramel, roasted coffee, and crème brûlée — all shaped by years of patient maturation. On the palate, lively citrus notes lead to a long, mineral finish, laced with subtle saline nuances and exceptional persistence.

Produced in an extremely limited edition of 3,870 bottles and 275 magnums, each individually numbered and presented in elegant wooden cases, the 2007 Collezione is destined for the world’s finest dining rooms.

A wine for true collectors also opens the door to the Giulio Ferrari Collectors Club, whose members enjoy exclusive experiences and privileges.

The 2007 vintage made its debut on October 9, 2025, at Casa Maria Luigia in Modena, celebrated with a signature lunch by Chef Massimo Bottura. To honor the unveiling, Bottura created a special rendition of the legendary filetto alla Rossini, designed to elevate the with Giulio Ferrari Collezione 2007: “Shared Italian Pursuit of Magnificence: Rossini in sound and taste, Ferrari in bubbles and terroir.”
