Darryl Sanders – Brand Ambassador and Representative for the Americas, Glass of Bubbly

The team at Glass of Bubbly are delighted to welcome to our family Darryl Sanders who will become Brand Ambassador and Representative for the Americas. Darryl’s passion for the finest bubbles and long term admiration of the Glass of Bubbly brand brings our paths together – Expanding the love for bubbly worldwide!

We are already working on exciting projects for the US market to include The Glass of Bubbly Show in the US and judging days for the World Finest Awards. Along with the UK, the United States of America has a deep love for fine wines and, of course, the finest of bubbles.

Darryl W. SANDERS is an American Champagne specialist, importer, exporter, and brand ambassador for several Champagne houses, whose work is rooted in a love of Champagne not only as a sparkling wine, but as a living cultural tradition shaped by place, season, and the people behind it. He founded The Champagne Company in 2020 and continues a career devoted to independent grower producers and family estates, guided by a thoughtful selection philosophy that values village identity, terroir expression, and Champagne houses that are female owned, female led, or female managed. He coined the phrase “Champagne Everyday,” a simple expression of his belief that Champagne is not a luxury item, but an expression of joy and passion, something meant to be savoured, shared, and enjoyed every day.

Alongside his work with producers, Darryl is deeply involved in the practical side of the trade, helping wineries navigate shipping, customs, regulatory compliance, and government processes to create clear and reliable access to the United States market. Through his role with Glass of Bubbly, he continues his work in the wider world of sparkling wine, contributing to education, judging, and the growth of global sparkling wine culture. He also produces Champagne and sparkling wine reviews, gastronomy driven tastings, service focused programming, including The Champagne Table, Champagne focused travel, and content exploring Champagne and sparkling wine history through his YouTube and publishing work, highlighting sparkling wine’s global reach and cultural influence.

Outside of his professional work, he collects Champagne caps, creates Champagne inspired art, is a lifelong rugby player, and enjoys snowboarding, reflecting a belief that sparkling wine, like life, is best when you live it.
