Award Winning Champagnes from Sanger

Champagne Sanger was founded in 1952 by 16 former students of the Avize Viticulture School.It is deeply intertwined with the educational mission of the local school, often having students and young professionals involved in its operations, blending tradition with modern, sustainable techniques.
Centrally located in Avize, a Grand Cru village in the Côte des Blancs, featuring 13 hectares of vineyards, with a focus on Grand Cru Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. They produce several award winning Champagnes.
Terroir Natal
100% Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru crafted from Côte des Blancs grapes with 30% reserve wines, aged over 48 months.
The name ‘Terroir Natal’ refers to the native, chalky, clay-limestone terroir of the Côte des Blancs, specifically around the producer’s home in Avize.
Excellent with seafood, oysters, and salmon carpaccio.
Tasting notes: Toasty nose with hints of lemon blossom, tangerine, apples, pears and fresh bread. Crunchy fruit and yellow plums with notes of herbs and minerals, which develop into croissant and brioche on the palate. Very rich with layers of pastry and cream, and quite a buttery finish. A beautifully complex wine to pair with food.

Triangle Minéral 2018
100% Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs with long bottle ageing, often around 6-7 years, creating a complex, mature profile.
Known for its high minerality. The ‘Triangle’ refers to a unique triptych of a single grape variety, single year, and single plot, aiming for pure, unmasked terroir expression.
Ideal with high-end seafood, particularly scallops.
Tasting notes: Buttery croissant in aroma with mirabelle plums, banana and pineapple. Rich butter, pastry, apple tart and caramelised walnuts on the palate. An opulent wine.

Poème 11
An exceptional Extra Brut Champagne, part of the premium Poème collection, celebrating unique, memorable vintages with a focus on ageing, often aged in oak barrels for around 11 months. It is known for its refinement, minerality, and complexity, representing the high-quality terroir of the Champagne region.
Pairs well with rich and savoury dishes, especially Foie Gras, Scallops, and Mature Comté Cheese.
Tasting notes: Honey and apricot with a touch of marmalade in aromas. Intense and complex with peaches, croissant, toast, lemon and custard cream biscuits.

Tango Paradoxe
Produced with a gentle saignée process for colour, with over 24 months of ageing on lees.
Pairs well with appetisers, poultry, or fruit-based desserts.
The name ‘Tango Paradoxe’ stems from the union of contrasting Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, bringing together ‘a brisk and precise pace with an intense grace’, much like the dance.
Tasting notes: Light orange-red to bright raspberry hue. Beautifully expressive, full of red berries and red fruit in aromas and flavour.

Voyage 360
Made from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Meunier grapes.
Named ‘Voyage’ because it is designed as a sensory journey or ‘taste voyage’ through the entire Champagne region, utilising grapes from 42 different villages. The 360 signifies the extensive range of terroir and diversity covered, encompassing all the major areas of the region in a single blend.
Ideal with shellfish, white meat, smoked salmon toast, or rillettes.
Tasting notes: Tropical with mango, ripe fruit and mango yoghurt.
