Marks & Spencer now sells Prosecco Jeroboams

M&S has become the first high street shop to offer Prosecco in a 3 litre bottle.

With the UK still in love with the Italian fizz, M&S has high hopes the large bottles of Prosecco – which equal four standard sized bottles – will be a hit this time of year. Jeroboams are great for parties, offering around 20 glasses of bubbly per bottle.

Limited supplies of Monticella DOCG Prosecco Jeroboam are on sale for £45 a bottle at M&S, while the standard 75cl bottle is £15.

It’s described as “a lively crisp Italian sparkling wine which is aromatic and fresh with light lemon, pear and apple flavours and a floral hint. Blended by M&S winemaker Jeneve Williams it has a dry, wonderfully refreshing finish. ”

We are likely to see Prosecco take over shelves as it continues to stay strong as the UK’s favourite bubbly.
