House of wine Doppler

Positioned 380 meters above sea level with the Šentilj hills on one side and the Pesica valley on the other side, House of wine Doppler is a fine example of a Slovenian sparkling wine producer.
The location is simply wonderful and a dreamy location to enjoy a wine tasting, the views are stunning which can be confirmed by viewing the Doppler’s Instagram channel. News cellars were built in 2010.
The ownership and running of the winery has been in the safe hands of two recent generations of daughters, currently being run by Hisa Vina Doppler who is driving the brand positively forwards. Previously the vineyard was established by Benedictines from Austria in 1815 until in 1938 where Ivan Doppler purchased the estate and this family ownership has continued.
We recently had their Diona Brut Nature 2010 enter The World’s Finest Glass of Bubbly Awards which resulted in a splendid Gold Medal for them in the category of ‘Oaky & Toasty’.
