California Blooming Cocktail

California Dreaming, California Drinking, California Blooming, introducing an original Glass of Bubbly Cocktail, aimed at capturing the wonderful flavours from the sun-shining, film-making, dream-creating state of California.

If you can’t go in person, go in spirit, that’s the motto of the company behind California Gin and to aid its Californian expression we’ve combined it with the amazing Prosecco brand of Giusti.

The Prosecco – Giusti

The Giusti family’s passion for wine dates back to the 1600s, the journey started when they bought a two-hectare property where Giusti Wine was soon to be established. Giusti Wine came from the original Dal Col vineyard which dated back to 1945, the full name of the company is Società Agricola Giusti-Dal Col srl, Giusti Wine planted its first vineyard in 2002 and grow rapidly with them now owning 75 hectares.

Aroma – “White floral notes, combined with very ripe green pears and green apples, and pear blossom on the aroma.”

Flavour – “Green fruits, apple blossom, white floral, green pear flesh, pear blossom and subtle notes of chalky terroir on the palate.”

The Gin – California

CBA Gin emerged from the crowd with the ambition of capturing the essence of some of the most wonderful places in the world.

Currently, they have captured the flavours from the city of Marrakesh in Morocco and the famous American state of California, with plans to capture more of the world’s flavours.

Their California Gin is for those moments when you can’t go in person to the West Coast, but still want to taste its unique and wonderful flavours, this could be the perfect drink for California dreaming.

Ingredients

• Prosecco
• California Gin
• Ginger & Rhubarb Juice
• Ginger Syrup
• Vermouth
• Dried Orange Wheels

How To Make The California Blooming Cocktail

• Begin with 10mls of California Gin
• Then Include 50mls of Ginger & Rhubarb Juice
• 5mls of Vermouth
• A Dash of Ginger Syrup
• Top up with Prosecco
• Garnish with Dried Orange Wheels

The California Blooming Cocktail Tasting Notes

Aroma – “Orange blossom, dried oranges with notes of ginger on the aroma.”

Flavour – “A delicate smooth, almost silky zesty note of orange with sweet ginger, red and black berry bitters from the Vermouth, floral notes and a display of sweet juicy fruits, including green, white and orange flavours.”
