London was the location and the famous Searcys St Pancras was the venue for the 2024 Glass of Bubbly Champagne & Sparkling Wine Awards. Now in its eighth year, and following two days of judging 100’s of sparkling wine labels from across the globe, the Glass of Bubbly Awards judging panel decided upon which wines were to take home not only medals and certificates, but also much sought after unique and quirky category trophies.

“Each wine is judged not only on visual, aromatic and flavour qualities to receive a medal score, they also go through a second judging process in order to place them within an easy to understand for consumer category. The best scoring wine in each category judgement gets to take home the relevant trophy.”

Those who took home trophies included sparkling wineries from Slovenia, Japan, Australia, France, Italy and more with winemakers, distributors and Master of Wines there on the evening to come up to the stage to receive their well deserved prizes.

As part of the Glass of Bubbly Awards, there were also special recognitions made for the people who make things happen with ‘Sparkling Wine Influencer’ and ‘Significant Contribution to the World of Sparkling Wine’ announcements along with Sustainability highlighted thanks to Slow Food UK with the Sustainability Trophy.
