Sparkling Wine Run

We are delighted to be hosting our second Sparkling Wine Run at Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens on Saturday, June 20th. Experience a stunning, summertime 10km trail run / walk with an English sparkling wine tasting on the route, alongside delicious food and live music.

 

Tour the vineyards in a golf buggy

Did you know that the vineyards at Leonardslee were once part of a golf course? When Penny Streeter and her family first planted vines in 2017, one of the two 18-hole courses was divided into two and a half became the vineyard. This was evident when planting took place and the team kept finding golf balls in the soil. It was soon realised that there were far too many to remove, so they were left and remain a crucial part of the Leonardslee story.

Vineyard Tours are available all year round from Wednesday through to Sunday at 12pm, with a 3pm slot added throughout the growing season (April to October)

Taste our English Sparkling wines alongside a delicious seasonal menu and be part of this special highlight in the English wine calendar. Our wine and dine events always sell out in advance, so early booking is advisable.
