Champagne H.BLIN is a company of 110 grape-growers, eight generation of winemakers born into the home of Vincelles, in the Marne Valley opposite the town of Dormans, it covers an area of 130 hectares. Here the Pinot Meunier variety is king.It is renowned for its fine, fruit and structured wines. The Cellar Masters of the Trade have known it for generations.
Simon Blin, the grandson of the foudner, has been the president of the company since 2009. Tony Rasselat has been director for the past 25 years – he runs the House of H.BLIN with a master hand and a rare rigour and conviction.
The winemakers of Vincelles have their hearts set on a project to develop a 100% Pinot Meunier cuvee which will delight enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike. This Pinot Meunier cuvee will be symbolic of the highest standards available from Vincelles. Great care is brought to the vineyards as sustainable farming that prevents the use of chemicals, maintains the soil by ploughing and planting grass, and limits the loss of energy, fuels and water.
