They import the some of the finest authentic rums from the shores of Jamaica and Guyana, from there, they blend every drop with an array of plentiful flavours.

Wester also pride themselves on beeing a zero-waste business, all their waste is re-purposed, plus thier energy comes from 100% renewable sources and their packaging is 100% recyclable.

  • Banana Rum
  • ABV: 40%
  • Available in 20cl (£16) and 50cl (£27)

“A warm and hearty caramelised banana experience, notes of vanilla and further baked caramel, with hints of cinnamon powder sprinkled on top. The aroma and the palate are evenly matched in style and are not dissapointed with either, it’s sweet in flavour but not sickly, the same aspect of sweetness you get from lightly roasted/cooked bananas, it’s smooth on the palate, you can taste that rum has been used as the structure of the drink and it helps give it it’s warmth and adds to the blend. Don’t expect to be drinking a standard spiced rum with promiant notes of banana, but don’t also expect to be tasting a rum-based banana liqueur, it’s found a very pleasent place inbetween, giving you something that provides quality for the on-the-rocks / by-the-glass experience and something that can be used in adding plentiful expressions of flavours to quality cocktails.” – Glass of Bubbly

The Cocktail

How To Make The Cocktail:

  • 20mls Banana Rum
  • Top up with Prosecco (125mls)
  • 3 twists of Black Pepper
Tasting Notes: “A very silky smooth experience of sublte and kind black pepper on a bed of tamed caramel, dried pineapples, cooked banana, ripe mangos. Very easy and enjoyable to drink, moreish beyond belief, the ‘dry’ Prosecco mellows out all the flavours and units them in this cocktail which will become a fan favorite for us at Glass of Bubbly.”
